Anglers find your lakes on the Carp Army map, choose a swim, and pay in the app. The money goes straight into your own Stripe account the moment they book — not into ours, and not weeks later.
Free to list · No monthly fee · Around ten minutes to set up
One percent of each booking, plus the card processing Stripe charges. No monthly fee, no listing fee, no charge for the swims you fill yourself.
Move the sliders. These are the real figures — 1% commission, and Stripe's UK card rate of 1.5% plus 20p per transaction, which we pass on rather than mark up.
Stripe's fee is theirs, not ours — it is what any card payment costs, whether you take it here, on your own website or on a card machine at the gate. Rates for non-UK and commercial cards differ slightly.
| A typical booking | Angler pays | Carp Army | Stripe | You receive |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One night | £30.00 | £0.30 | £0.65 | £29.05 |
| Weekend, two nights | £60.00 | £0.60 | £1.10 | £58.30 |
| Four-night session | £120.00 | £1.20 | £2.00 | £116.80 |
| Whole lake, syndicate day | £400.00 | £4.00 | £6.20 | £389.80 |
Your lakes appear on the Carp Army map with photos, rules, species and directions — in front of anglers already looking for somewhere to fish.
Set up each lake and every swim on it. Anglers pick the peg they want, not just a date, and see what is already taken.
Offer exclusive use of a lake for syndicate days, matches and groups, priced separately from individual swims.
Per-swim pricing, discounts you set, and the date bookings open. Nothing is priced for you.
Block out dates for work, matches or a rest period and those days simply stop being bookable.
Every booking with the angler's name and phone number, and confirm or cancel from the same screen.
Anglers tag your fishery when they log a capture, so your lakes build a public record of what comes out of them.
Drop a widget on your site and show the catches from your water there, updating on its own.
Your name, your water, where it is. Add each lake with its swims, photos and prices. Free, and nothing is charged for listing.
About ten minutes, and it is your account, not one we hold for you. Bookings stay closed until Stripe has cleared it — we will not take money we cannot pass straight on.
Your swims go live in the app. Each booking pays into your account as it happens, with the 1% and the card fee already taken off.
As the angler pays. The payment is split at the moment it is taken, so your share goes directly into your Stripe account — we never hold it. Stripe then pays out to your bank on its usual schedule, typically within a few working days of the payment.
Our commission is 1% of the booking and nothing else — no monthly fee, no listing fee, no charge per lake or per swim. On top of that sits the card processing charge, which is Stripe's, not ours: about 1.5% plus 20p on a UK card. We pass that on at cost rather than marking it up. On a £30 night that is 30p to us and around 65p to Stripe.
To take bookings in the app, yes. It is what lets the money go to you directly rather than sitting with us — which is better for you and means we are never holding your takings. You can still list your fishery on the map without it; the swims simply show as not bookable, and anglers contact you the way they do now.
Keep doing it. You set which swims are bookable in the app and block out anything you have filled yourself. There is no exclusivity and nothing to cancel elsewhere — most waters start by putting a handful of swims on and seeing what comes of it.
You can cancel a booking from your dashboard and the angler is refunded. You confirm bookings too, so nothing is committed without you seeing it first.
Nothing. Being on the map, having your lakes, swims, photos and rules in front of anglers, and collecting the catches logged at your water are all free. The 1% only ever applies when a booking is actually paid for through the app.
Free to list, 1% when you take a booking, and the money is yours the moment it is paid.
