Baits that did the work

Baitworks led the way with 2 captures, both over 20lb and averaging 22lb 3oz. Worth saying its numbers are down on the prior period, so it's steady rather than red hot.

The Sticky pair each landed one, with Manilla putting a 22lb 8oz common on the bank and Krill accounting for a mid-double. DNA Bug and the two CC Moore Northern Specials entries filled out the rest with single fish apiece.

Where the fish came from

Norfolk was the busiest county with 3 captures and a best of 22lb 8oz. North Yorkshire chipped in with 2.

Single fish came from Gloucestershire (21lb) and Wiltshire, the latter home to the week's biggest at 23lb 6oz.

Biggest fish

Top of the pile was a 23lb 6oz mirror for Daniel Silvester on Baitworks, banked in the afternoon. Nubz was close behind with a 22lb 8oz common on Sticky Manilla.

Daniel also had a 21lb mirror to Baitworks, so two of the top three came to the same bait in the same hands.

Conditions
