In a gale with driving rain you want reliable presentation without watching for shows, and a solid PVA bag lands your hookbait in a neat pile of food wherever it goes. It resists tangles on the cast and fishes on any bottom, so you can bait up, cast out and sit tight through the weather.

- Use a heavier 3-3.5oz lead to punch through the wind
Solid PVA bag rig
A short supple rig inside a solid PVA bag of pellet or crumb. The hookbait lands in a pile of food, wherever it lands.

How to tie it
- Tie a 3 to 4 inch hair rig with a small hook and a small hookbait.
- Attach to an inline lead on a short swivel.
- Put a little pellet in the bag, then the lead, then pack around the rig with more pellet.
- Lick and stick, squeeze out the air, and trim the corners.
