A bottle-style float for boat work that holds your main line up off the lakebed between the rod tip and the lead. This keeps the line clear of snags and other obstructions on the bottom after you have placed your rig.
Two rubber beads go on the main line before you tie on your rig or leader. Set one a few feet above the rig and the other a couple of feet over depth, so the float has some play. After lowering the rig, clip the marker to the line between the beads. When you land a fish, the beads slide down the line. Suited to anglers who fish from a boat and want their line off the bottom.
