These digital scales from Avid Carp are made for weighing carp quickly and reading the figure with confidence. The frame is stainless steel inside a reinforced over-moulded body, and the fold-out arms are stainless steel too, with over-moulded sleeves to hold. They weigh up to 132lb (60kg) in 1oz steps.
The backlit screen sits under a sealed cover that guards against water and knocks. Three buttons control everything: switch between lb and kg, and zero the display once your wet weigh sling is attached. A top hoop suits a tripod or weighing crook, and the bottom hook retracts. They take one 9v battery and come with a neoprene case, so they suit any carp angler who wants a straightforward set of scales.
