This is a braided mainline from Avid Carp, made for carp fishing. It sinks quickly and has a camo finish in Outline Camo tones, so it blends in with a range of lakebed backgrounds. The braid has high knot strength and better abrasion resistance.
There is no stretch in the line, so bites should show clearly on your alarms, which helps when you are fishing at range. It is also said to cast well. The 0.25mm diameter has a 30lb (13.6kg) breaking strain. It comes on 300m or 600m spools, so you can choose the length that suits your reels and how often you re-spool.
