The Avid Carp VTX+ set pairs a receiver with two, three or four alarm heads, so you can choose the number to match the rods you fish. Each head uses a roller wheel that senses line movement in both directions, with eight sensitivity levels to suit the swim.
Each alarm has a cone speaker, volume, tone and sensitivity dials, and a choice of six LED colours. It runs on two AAA batteries inside an IPX6-rated sealed case. Clip-on hardcases, a receiver lanyard and a screwdriver come in the box. It suits anglers who want a straightforward, reasonably priced alarm set with a receiver included.
