Fox Edges Downrigger Back Leads are small weights that sit on the mainline behind the lead to hold the line down on the lakebed. Keeping the line pinned down is intended to reduce the chance of spooking fish.
They suit venues with boat traffic or bird life. The clip grips the weight by friction and will release if the weight becomes snagged. Large and small clips are supplied, and the small clip stops the weight passing over your end tackle so it rests above the hooklength. Each pack holds three leads, in 21g, 43g or 57g.
