The Edges Super Wide Gape is a carp hook with a long, sweeping bend and a beaked point. Its gape is wider than any hook Fox have made before, including the Wide Gape and Stiff Rig patterns. The extra width leaves more of the point exposed, which gives it a better chance of taking hold when the fish ejects the rig.
It has a 10 degree in-turned eye and a non-reflective dark coating, and it is forged from XC81 Vanadium steel. It suits anglers who tie bottom bait or pop-up rigs and want a wide-gape pattern. The beaked point also makes it a sensible choice for fishing bottom baits over hard gravel. Available in sizes 2, 4, 5 and 6.
