The Fox EOS 12000 FS is a large free spool reel built for long-range casting and heavier work such as boat or bait boat fishing. With the free spool engaged, a taking fish can pull line off freely. Turning the handle disengages it and the reel becomes a front drag, so you have smooth control while playing the fish.
It is the biggest of four sizes in the EOS FS range, so it suits anglers who need plenty of line and a reel that can cope with demanding carp fishing. It holds 415m of 0.35 line and weighs about 642g.
