The Fox Large X Spomb is a bait delivery tool for putting large amounts of bait out at range in one cast. The body opens on impact with the water and releases its contents straight away. It is a reworked version of the original Large Spomb, with a weight-forward shape intended to give steadier flight and better accuracy.
High density foam in the fuselage means it floats once open, so no separate Spomb float is needed. It then skims across the surface on the retrieve. It suits anglers who bait up heavily and want to do it quickly on a dedicated Spomb or spod rod. Fox recommends a heavy braided or mono shockleader and a finger stall.
