The Fox Midi X Spomb is a bait delivery device that releases its contents when it hits the water. The Midi X shape has been reworked to be more weight forward, which helps it travel a long way on the cast. It sits in size between the Midi and the Large Spomb.
Filled, it weighs roughly 5 to 5.5oz depending on the bait, which suits casting at extreme range. High density foam in the body keeps it afloat, so you don't need separate Spomb floats. It suits anglers who need to put bait out at long distances. Fox recommends a dedicated Spomb or Spod rod, a heavy braided or mono shockleader and a finger stall.
