The Fox Midi X Spomb is a bait delivery tool that opens and releases its contents when it hits the water. The Midi X shape is weighted towards the front, which is intended to help it fly further than other Spomb models. It sits in size between the Midi and the Large Spomb. This Red version is part of a limited run that also includes Fluoro Green.
It suits anglers who need to put bait out at long range. Filled, it weighs roughly 5 to 5.5oz, depending on the bait. Fox recommends using it with a dedicated Spomb/Spod rod, a heavy braided or mono shockleader to reduce crack-offs, and a finger stall when casting.
