The Fox Midi X Spomb is a bait delivery tool that opens and releases its contents when it hits the water. Its shape has been changed to put more weight toward the front, which is aimed at long-range casting. It sits in size between the Midi and Large Spombs.
It suits anglers who need to put bait out at long distances. Filled, it weighs roughly 5 to 5.5oz, depending on the bait used. Fox recommends using a dedicated Spomb or Spod rod, a heavy braided or mono shockleader to reduce crack-offs, and a finger stall when casting.
