This is a catapult from Fox with a moulded Method pouch, made to hold a ball of groundbait without crushing it while the elastic is under tension. The pouch is built for Method-style baiting rather than loose feed.
The elastic is a single piece of solid Slik, so there are fewer connections to fail. Because it is solid rather than hollow, a thinner diameter can still produce good power, and Fox's tests showed a longer life than conventional hollow elastic. The frame is rubber over-moulded with shaped finger grips. It suits anglers who want a dependable catapult for putting out groundbait balls. Spare elastics, pouches and connectors are sold separately.
