The Fox Spomb S Rod is built for putting bait out with Spombs and spods. It has reinforced carbon power joints, and the maker says the design reduces frap ups and crack-offs when casting heavy, bulky loads.
The rod has American Tackle Ti-Forged Air guides, running from 50mm down to 16mm and finished with a ceramic tip. It also has Japanese Shrink Wrap handle grips and an 18mm DPS reel seat in gunsmoke. It is sold in 12ft and 13ft lengths, so it suits anglers who want a dedicated rod for baiting up at range.
