The Fox Spomb X Reel is a reel built specifically for casting Spombs and other baiting devices, rather than for general fishing. It was designed in the UK, with a sealed drag, rotor and body to keep water and bait residue out, and a grease port for servicing.
It has machine cut aluminium and brass gearing, a 25kg Carbon Matrix drag and a 5.2:1 ratio that brings in 124cm of line per turn. It holds 300m of 0.18mm braid and weighs 603g. It suits anglers who put out bait by Spomb regularly and want a reel made for that job.
