The Fox Spomb X is a rod built for casting a Spomb or spod out to range. The blank is made from layers of electro bonded carbon cloth laid in several directions, which Fox says gives a stronger, lighter blank with good recovery after the cast. It is finished in understated cosmetics.
It is fitted with American Tackle Ti-Forged Air guides, graduating from 50mm down to 16mm, and a Fuji 18mm DPS reel seat in gunsmoke. It is offered in 12ft and 13ft Long Range versions, and suits anglers who regularly bait up at distance with a Spomb or spod.
