Fox Spomb XD Pro Braid is a thin grey braid made for spombing and spodding at long range. It is built on an 8 plus 1 carrier, which gives a round, supple line, and the fine diameter means little friction through the rod guides and low air resistance in flight.
It comes in two strengths, 16lb (0.14mm) and 24lb (0.18mm), each on a 300m spool. It suits anglers who want to put bait out a long way with a spod or Spomb. Fox suggests fitting a stretch leader of Spomb Mono between your braided leader and the XD Pro Braid to ease the load on the braid when the cast hits the clip.
