The Korda Bait Drill is a hand drill for boring hookbaits. It comes in 1mm, 4mm, 6mm and 8mm diameters. The 4mm, 6mm and 8mm sizes are used to hollow out a boilie or nut bait so a cork stick can be fitted, which adds buoyancy. That lets you balance a bait critically, build a snowman presentation from bottom baits, or make a pop-up if you have left yours at home.
The 1mm drill is for hard baits such as air-dried boilies and pellets, which a baiting needle can't pierce without splitting them. It makes a hole to thread the bait onto your hair. A small spike on the end keeps the drill from slipping, and the handle is shaped for a firm grip. Each pack has one drill plus matching cork sticks.
