Korda Basix Boom Hooklink

Korda Basix Boom is a clear fluorocarbon hooklink material made for tying stiff booms. It is a budget-friendly version of the Boom material Korda has long offered in its main hooklink range, and it suits spinner, hinged stiff and combi rig setups.

The fluorocarbon is low visibility underwater and can be crimped. Korda says the stiff section helps resist tangles and reset the rig, so it keeps fishing. It comes in two strengths on 15m spools: 25lb (0.55mm, use 0.6 krimp) and 35lb (0.65mm, use 0.7 krimp). It suits carp anglers who tie their own rigs and want a lower-cost boom material.
