Korda Basix Coated Hooklink is a coated braid with a soft, supple feel. The braid and the coating are both a muted camo green, so it sits unobtrusively on most types of lakebed. It is supplied on a 10m spool in either 18lb or 25lb breaking strain.
It suits rigs for bottom baits, wafters and pop-ups. It lies straight without steaming and is designed to resist tangling. The coating can be stripped back to form a hinge section, which gives the rig extra movement. It knots well with ordinary knots without the outer coating breaking, and 10m is enough to tie plenty of rigs.
