The Basix Kurv is a carp hook based on the original Korda Kurv, with a curved shank and an in-turned eye. The shape is meant to make the hook flip and take hold in the fish's mouth without a kicker or shrink tube, so it works straight from the packet. It suits rigs such as the Spinner and the IQ D-rig.
It is made from Korda's 'X' gauge wire, which is stronger than the original Kurv, and has a black nickel finish that does not stand out. Each packet holds ten hooks. Choose from sizes 2, 4, 6 and 8, in barbed or barbless.
