About this product

- Korda reports a 1oz Grippa grips like a 2oz Swivel Pear
- Suited to rivers, bar sides and marginal slopes
- Smaller splash than a heavier lead when casting
- Nine sizes: 1.1oz, 1.5oz, 2oz, 3oz, 4oz, 5oz, 6oz, 8oz and 10oz
The Big Grippa is a swivel lead built for spots where a standard pear lead tends to move or roll. Korda's own testing found that a 1oz Grippa holds as well as a 2oz Swivel Pear, so you can often use a smaller weight for the same job.
That makes it a good fit for rivers, the sides of bars, marginal slopes and long-range work by boat. A lighter lead also lands with a smaller splash, which helps when casting to gently sloping island margins. It suits barbel and chub fishing on rivers, and carp anglers fishing wide, fast-flowing water. Available in nine sizes from 1.1oz up to 10oz.
