Korda Boom is a stiff, green-tinted fluorocarbon hooklink material, and it is the first Korda fluorocarbon that can be crimped. Its main job is to form stiff boom sections that push the hook bait away from the lead system on every cast. It suits combi-rigs, hinged stiff rigs and spinner rigs, and can be used with pop-ups or bottom baits.
It comes in four breaking strains, so it covers open water fishing in the UK as well as snaggy venues and large carp in Europe. Each spool holds 15m. Korda recommends its 0.5mm XS Krimp for the 20lb, 0.50mm version.
