The Korda COG (Centre of Gravity) Flat Pear is a lead system that attaches the hook link at the heaviest part of the lead. It is designed to give the hooking action of an inline lead while casting and behaving like a lead clip set-up. This flat pear shape suits closer range fishing, and lowering or dropping the rig from a boat.
The COG must be used with tubing or leadcore. It works best with stiffer hook links such as IQ, Hybrid Stiff and N-Trap Semi Stiff, and is intended for firm lake beds such as gravel, sand and firm silt rather than weed. The boom sections are numbered on the swivel, so match each one to the correct lead. Available in seven sizes.
