The Korda Compac Retainer Sling is a full mesh retainer for keeping a carp safely in the water before weighing and photographs. The mesh has no pinch points on the fish, and it is light and soft to cradle the carp and let air flow through. Korda developed it over more than four years with Danny Fairbrass and his team, testing it with large European carp.
The frame uses tempered rigid aluminium bars with low profile buoyant supports and slim buoyant arms with reflective markers. It comes with military grade hooks, a 6m high-visibility cord and a machined stainless steel bank stick attachment. This Dark Kamo version suits anglers who want a purpose-built retainer for larger fish. It measures 116cm x 70cm x 32cm.
