This is a 50cm fused plastic leader for helicopter-style rigs. It works with a standard hooklink or a chod rig. Tungsten sections are built into the material to help keep it down on the lake bed. The Heli-Safe and ChodSafe systems let the hooklink come free of the leader if the mainline breaks. You attach the hooklink with a QC ring swivel.
The length leaves room to slide the top bead well up the leader, which helps with presentation over deeper silt or weed. The other end has a fused loop for tying on the mainline or for a loop-to-loop connection. It is made for anglers who want to match the leader colour to the lake bed. It comes in Clear, Gravel Khaki or Weed Green, with one leader per pack.
