A ready-tied hook rig from Korda, built on Dark Matter braid and based on the set-up Neil Spooner uses as his all-round rig. It has a Wide Gape hook with a short length of shrink tube to help the hook turn in the mouth, plus a small piece of silicone tubing on the shank to set where the hair leaves.
Extender hair stops are included, so you can fit different bait sizes and change the hair length and the gap between bait and hook by swapping the stop. The braid is heavy and sinks well, and it suits fishing with a PVA bag or stringer. Available in sizes 10 to 2, barbed or barbless.
