Korda DF Carp Rig Barbed

This is a ready-tied carp rig built to the specification of Danny Fairbrass. The hair length, loop size and amount of stripped coating follow the way he ties it himself. The rig has been refined over about ten years, with components swapped as better ones have become available.

It uses a Korda Wide Gape hook, N-Trap Soft coated braid, Safe Zone shrink tube and Korda rig rings. It can be fished with boilies, or with plastic corn over spodded particles, and works with balanced baits, standard bottom baits or pop-ups. Pop-ups need a split shot, sinker or Dark Matter putty added. This version has a barbed hook and comes in sizes 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10. The packaging keeps the rig straight and protects the hook point.
