Korda Eazi Melt PVA String 15m

Korda Eazi Melt is a woven PVA string on a 15m spool, sold as a total-dissolve material. It is intended for building stringers and for closing the tops of PVA bags, where it stays strong while dry.

For stringers, Korda suggests doubling the string: thread the baits onto a loop, pass the loop over the hook, then draw the top bait up against the hook so the loop cannot slip off during the cast. Do not use it to bind a hair tightly to the hook. A very tight knot can stop water reaching the strands inside the braid, and the knot may not dissolve. Korda points to its Kwik-Melt solid tape for jobs that need a tight overhand knot.
