Korda Essentials Krank X Hooks

The Krank X is a carp hook with a very wide gape, a short curved shank and an offset point, which is there to improve hooking. Tom Dove came up with the Krank design in 2014, and Tom and Spooner have used this pattern mostly on their Spinner Rigs. It now sits in the Korda Essentials range.

It is made from Korda's 'X' gauge wire with a black nickel finish, and is suitable for a wide range of fishing situations in the UK and Europe. The point is sharp and durable, but check it after every fish and replace the hook if needed. Available in sizes 2, 4 and 6, barbed or barbless. A sensible choice for anglers who want a proven pattern without paying more than they need to.
