About this product
- Made for splicing leadcore leaders
- Fine gated latch grips the leadcore as it passes through the splice
- Designed not to snag the leadcore fibres
- Can also be used as a fine latch needle for smaller hookbaits
- Part of the Korda Essentials range
The Korda Essentials Splicing Needle is a tool for anglers who tie their own leadcore leaders. It has a fine gated latch that holds the leadcore firmly enough to guide it through the splice, so you can make neat, consistent loops without the needle catching the fibres.
It also works as a fine latch needle for smaller hookbaits, so it can be used for more than one job in your tackle box. It belongs to the Korda Essentials range, which is aimed at good-quality tackle at a sensible price for new, occasional and budget-conscious anglers.
