About this product
- Wide Gape pattern with an in-turned eye
- Made from X gauge wire
- Black nickel finish
- Barbed or barbless versions
- Sizes 2, 4 and 6
- Ten hooks per packet
The Korda Essentials Wide Gape X is a general-purpose carp hook based on Korda's original Wide Gape shape. Its in-turned eye is intended to help the hook turn and grip without extra kickers or shrink tube, so it can be tied straight from the packet for bottom baits, pop-ups or wafters.
It is made from Korda's X gauge wire with a black nickel finish. Choose barbed or barbless in size 2, 4 or 6, with ten hooks per pack. It suits newer anglers and anyone who wants a simple hook that keeps costs down. Check the point is still sharp after every cast.
