Korda Hooklink Sinkers are small teardrop-shaped weights made with tungsten, so they are dense for their size. They are used to hold a hooklink, leader or mainline down on the lakebed and keep end tackle less visible. Unlike putty, they stay in place when you are playing a fish in weed.
They are supplied on a wire loop. Slide one onto the hooklink before you tie a loop or fit a swivel, and it grips most hooklink materials. They can be reused: remount one with a fine splicing needle. Choose Small (0.05g) for braid on PVA bag rigs, Medium (0.10g) for fluorocarbon and stiff booms, or Large (0.15g) for leaders and heavy coated hooklinks. Colours are Gravel Brown and Weed Green.
