The Korda IQ D Rig is a ready-tied version of the D-rig Danny Fairbrass uses, hand-tied to his specification, including the whipping knot. It is a stiff rig, and the swivel sliding on the large D is there to help stop carp ejecting the hook.
It is made for boilie fishing and is most often used with a wafter hookbait that sits just above the hook on the lakebed. This barbed version comes in sizes 4 (15lb IQ2), 6 (12lb IQ2) and 8 (10lb IQ2), with Extenda stops supplied free. It suits anglers who want the D-rig without tying it themselves.
