The Kaizen Green 12ft Spod is the lighter of the two spod rods in Korda's more affordable Kaizen Green range. It is built to send a loaded Spomb a long way, and it costs less than the flagship Kaizen Platinum.
It uses a fast-tapered blank with a tippy action, and its action is almost identical to the matching Platinum model. The carbon is a more affordable grade, so it transfers a little less power into the cast, recovers slightly more slowly and can twist a touch more. Most anglers will not notice this unless they push the rod to its limits. It suits anglers who want a capable spod rod without paying Platinum money.
