Korda Kaizen Green 13ft Spod Rod

The Kaizen Green 13ft Spod is the lighter of the two spod rods in Korda's Kaizen Green range. It is built to put a loaded Spomb a long way, and it costs less than the flagship Kaizen Platinum rods.

The blank is made on a fast-tapered mandrel, so the taper runs from butt to tip and most of the flex sits in the tip until the rod is loaded hard, as it is when casting. Kaizen Green uses a more affordable grade of carbon than Platinum, so it transfers a little less power and recovers a little more slowly. It suits anglers who want a capable spod rod without paying Platinum money.
