About this product
- Length 12ft 6in, test curve 4lb
- Fast-tapered profile running from butt to tip
- Tippy action with most of the flex in the tip until loaded, as when casting
- Faster line pick-up, with enough give to absorb lunges at close range
- Built from a more affordable carbon grade than the Kaizen Platinum
- Tested on a range of venues, from the bank and from boats, at home and abroad
The Kaizen Green is Korda's lower-priced carp rod range, sitting beneath the Kaizen Platinum. This model is 12ft 6in with a 4lb test curve. Its action is almost the same as the matching Platinum rod, but it is built from a more affordable grade of carbon.
The trade-off is small. It passes slightly less power into the cast, recovers a little more slowly and allows a touch more blank twist, which can cost a little accuracy. Most anglers will only notice this when pushing the rod hard. It suits anglers who want a capable all-round rod without paying Platinum money, including those newer to carp fishing.
