The Kaizen Platinum 12ft 3.5lb is a carp rod built as a single do-it-all option. It has a lightweight, balanced blank that Korda says handles delicate short-range casts as well as heavy pressure on big waters. The recommended casting weight is 2-4oz.
It sits in Korda's high-end Kaizen range, which uses a fast-taper profile with most of the flex towards the tip and ZERO90 Japanese carbon. It suits anglers who want one set of rods for different venues and distances, from close in to around 140 yards.
