The Kaizen Platinum is a 12ft 6in carp rod with a 4lb test curve. Danny Fairbrass designed it by taking one of his favourite blanks and shortening both the tip and the butt slightly. It is built mainly as a long-range casting rod, and Korda say it is possibly the most powerful in the Kaizen range.
It is rated for casting weights of 3-5oz, so it suits anglers who need to get heavy leads out at extreme range. It is a sensible choice if you want a long-range rod but do not need the extra six inches of the 13ft model. This listing is a clearance item.
