The Kaizen Platinum 13ft 4lb is the long-distance model in Korda's Kaizen range. It is rated for 3-5oz leads but tuned for 4oz, and in Korda's testing it cast over 200 yards with a 4oz lead and a 15mm hookbait and rig.
It is built for anglers who regularly fish at extreme range and want every extra yard. Korda says it takes practice and good technique to get the best from it. Team Korda's Tom Dove describes it as light to hold and easy to compress, and he has used it out to about 170 yards.
