The Kamakura Choddy is a carp hook pattern made to be used with fluorocarbon and stiff monofilament hooklinks, such as Korda Mouthtrap. It is aimed at anglers tying Hinged Stiff rigs and Chod rigs.
Every point is sharpened after the hook is made, to a tight tolerance, so each hook in the pack should have the same point. The sharpened tip carries a wax coating that protects it until you are ready to fish. Push the wax off before casting. Available in sizes 4, 6 and 8, barbed or barbless, with 10 hooks in each pack.
