The Korda Kamakura Wide Gape is a carp hook pattern suited to fishing in snaggy water, or to any rig where you want a positive, hard-to-shake presentation. It comes in sizes 4, 6 and 8, and you can choose barbed or barbless.
The hook also works well in an anti-eject set-up. Fit a short piece of silicone to hold the hair tight against the shank. Each pack contains 10 hooks, so there are plenty for tying several rigs.
