The Klor is a carp hook designed by Danny Fairbrass. Its point sits in line with the eye, a shape Korda describes as more aggressive than the Kurv Shank, so the hook turns quickly and takes hold in the mouth. It works with bottom baits, pop-ups and wafters, and with rigs such as the Combi Rig and Spinner Rig.
The wire is heavy gauge, so the hook suits weedy or snaggy water, including when fishing with braid. The point is long, sharp and slightly in-turned, which helps it resist knocks from crayfish and small fish, particularly over gravel. A whisker barb helps keep it in place. Sold in packs of 10, in barbed or barbless.
