About this product
- 10m long: 8m of 30lb (0.47mm) line, then a 2m taper
- Three options: 10-30lb, 12-30lb or 15-30lb
- Ultra-low stretch, low water absorption
- Clear, lightweight mono with the same properties as LongChuck main line
- Five leaders per spool
These tapered leaders are made for long-range casting and are intended to be used with Korda LongChuck main line. Each one is 10m long. The first 8m is 30lb (0.47mm) clear mono, which takes the force of the cast and resists abrasion when playing a fish over gravel bars. The last 2m tapers down to a thinner diameter.
There are three versions, tapering to 10lb (0.27mm), 12lb (0.30mm) or 15lb (0.33mm). Pick the one that is closest to your main line's breaking strain, so the joining knot stays neat and the line is less likely to cause a 'frap-up' off the spool. Each spool holds five leaders.
