Korda LongChuck Tapered Mainline is a clear monofilament made for casting at long range. Each end of the 300m spool has an 8m length of 0.47mm (30lb) line to take the force of the cast and resist abrasion when playing a fish, followed by a 2m taper down to the diameter you choose. This lets you fish straight through without a leader knot, which helps on weedy venues where weed can collect on the knot.
Both ends are identical, so after a cut-off you can reverse the line on your spool and carry on. It has ultra-low stretch, low water absorption and a high breaking strain for its diameter. Available in 10-30lb (0.27-0.47mm), 12-30lb (0.30-0.47mm) and 15-30lb (0.33-0.47mm).
