The Korda Marker Stem is a buoyant, injection-moulded stem that sits between your marker float and the lead. It holds the float about 10in off the bottom, so it clears low-lying weed and can still pop up when you reel in.
The mainline runs through a large eye fitted with a ceramic ring, which gives very little resistance. A bearing swivel stops the line twisting on the retrieve. It suits anglers who use a marker float on weedy waters, where a standard float would struggle to rise.
