The Korda Pear Swivel Lead is a compact, rounded lead with a swivel fitted. Its condensed shape is built for long casts and is less affected by cross winds, so it suits most situations, right up to the limit of your casting range.
The dumpy shape also works well on silt. A light pear, around 1oz or 2oz, can plug into the silt and give much more resistance to a carp bolting with the rig. The large rounded end makes it easier to feel the lead land on the bottom, which helps if you are new to the technique. It also sits neatly in the corner of a solid PVA bag, making the bag nose heavy and more accurate. Available in seven sizes.
