These ring swivels from Korda have a PTFE coating over the metal. PTFE has a very low coefficient of friction, so the barrel turns freely in the swivel eye. That reduces friction and helps cut down on tangles.
There are two sizes, each for a different job. The Size 8 is made to fit inside Korda Lead Clips, Inline Leads and Bait-Up Method Feeders. The ring acts as a hinge between the lead system and the hooklink, so the rig can lay correctly on the bottom. The Size 11 gives a strong hinge for Chod or Hinged Stiff Rigs. They are an addition to Korda's end tackle and do not replace the existing Ring Swivels.
